Please advise how can debug further from an END User point of view where the problem is. Not sure why is Cisco Any Connect trying to write to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS ? This was all working fine on the machine for quite sometime, now having this issue from past 2 days and Stuck. 10:48:25 PM Would be blocked by Access Protection rule (rule is currently not enforced) NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\CISCO\CISCO ANYCONNECT SECURE MOBILITY CLIENT\VPNAGENT.EXE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS G_BehavioralScan:BS01 Action blocked : Write See below line in the Access Protection Log. Virus Scan Enterprise - Please see Access Protection Log In the machine McAfee is Installed and there see Pinged the host which Cisco An圜onnect is going and see it works like a charm. Tried various Wired/Wireless Networks and then tried it - No Luck Uninstall/Install Cisco An圜onnect - No Luck along with Reboots When trying to Connect to the Server keep gettingĮrror - Connection attempt failed.

Path on windows 7 C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Cisco\Cisco HostScan\log) Cisco An圜onnect v4.2 - No Valid Certificates Available for Authentication. What I do not understand, is that no-one seems to be able to tell me what is failing.Īlso in an above comment about where the log for this is, I do not see even the path that is mentioned (You can also obtain Cscan logs from the end client machine and see where it is failing. The customer says the rules require a valid OS (Windows 7 is valid the customer says), that the system must be running a valid Anti-Virus (I am running Symantec, and it is up to date, which the customer says), and you must be running a firewall (I am, it is being managed by the Symantec Antivirus, and that too is valid according to the customer).

I connect to a customers system and until about 3 months ago it was working just fine, no issues at all, but then the customer upgrade their An圜onnect software and ever since then I am getting the error "Posture Assessment Failed: Hostscan CSD prelogin verification failed." I have a Lenovo Laptop running LINUX with a Windows 7 KVM running inside it. I have the same issue, but may have extenuating circumstances:
